Carrot-Turmeric Citrus Juice – Life

Method:

  1. Peel the carrots, orange, lemon, turmeric, and ginger.
  2. Chop into pieces small enough for your juicer chute.
  3. Juice in this order: Start with the carrots, followed by orange, lemon, turmeric, and ginger.
  4. Juice slowly to maximize yield, especially from softer fruits like citrus.
  5. Pour juice into a glass or pitcher.
  6. Stir in a pinch of black pepper to activate the anti-inflammatory compounds in turmeric
  7. If the juice is too strong or thick, stir in water or coconut water to taste.
  8. This also adds hydration and electrolytes—important postpartum!
  9. Serve: Pour over ice or chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes.
